Definition
An animal-drawn plow consisting of a moldboard, a triangular or oblong-shaped solid or slitted steel wing, attached to the base of the V-shaped shafts of the plow beam, either as an extension of the plowshare or as a separate fixture, and a pair of plow handles. Used to break the ground and turn over furrow in preparation for planting.
