Definition
A cylindrical bag, usually made of canvas or of some other sturdy fabric. It usually has a rope-tie closure that forms a handle with a loop at one end. It may have navy identification markings. Used by sailors to carry and store clothes, personal belongings and also sewing supplies in order to repair sails.
