Definition
A covering, made of human, horse, or goat hair, or synthetic fibers in various styles, and woven or attached at the root ends to a piece of net or a skullcap (a caul) which is shaped to the head. Used as fashionable attire for the head to complete the hairstyle, or to cover bald spots or patches of thin hair.
