Definition
A small steam engine of various types with an upright or a vertical boiler, made of different metals, such as brass, cast iron and nickel, painted in various colors, fueled by alcohol, water or electricity, and operated at lower steam pressures. Often includes accessories connecting to the engine (whistle, pump, grinder). Used by children for play. Also used to develop mechanical skills.
