Definition
A flat-topped table which is often inset with a panel of leather and has an under portion fitted with one or more drawers. It rests on four or more legs. It has various styles and designs. Used as a writing surface. Also used to store a variety of writing materials, such as ink bottles, pens, and writing paper.
